What does it feel like to step inside a dream? Between Dreams invites you to immerse yourself in the phases of sleep through an enveloping sensory experience—a space for slowing down and collective rest.
Born from a collaboration between Patrick Trudeau and Claire Kenway, Between Dreams is an immersive experience exploring the architecture of sleep: from wakefulness to deep sleep, through dreaming, and back to consciousness.
Inspired by brain waves and circadian rhythms, the work recreates the stages of sleep through images and sound. Abstract visuals, evolving patterns, and sonic textures transform the dome into a map of the sleeping brain.
The dome becomes a sanctuary of respite: a place to slow down, settle in, and reconnect with the intimate experience of rest. A counter-space to contemporary overstimulation, imposed rhythms, and the pressures of productivity.
More than a film, Between Dreams is a collective experience to be enjoyed horizontally — a place to surrender to sleep, a sensory refuge. Audiences are invited to bring blankets and pillows to get comfortable, relax, and perhaps drift into sleep.
On April 10, joined by The Bionic Harpist, the experience will culminate in a unique nocturnal event: an eight-hour immersive nocturnal experience recreating a full sleep cycle inside the dome—a historic first.

Music has been a part of Claire Kenway aka CLAiRe forever, as she grew up to the sounds of her mother’s violin performances and studied a variety of instruments: violin (of course!), voice, bass guitar and a little jazz piano. A bit of a gear junkie, Kenway has a small but mighty arsenal of synthesizers, samplers, sequencers, and drum machines. Something just flows when those machines come alive and as such, she has several EPs on vinyl and has released on labels Conceptual, Monoclap, Hushlamb, Archipel and more.
With a filmmaker's perspective on visual thematics and narrative, Patrick Trudeau combines minimalist aesthetics and complex evolutive graphics with emotive cinematic content. Keenly tuned in to the sounds of the musicians and producers he works alongside, Patrick Trudeau often creates new content inspired by their music, working much like a filmmaker in reverse as he edits his images live while the musical performance unfolds.
