Otis

Otis is the founder of Slagwerk, a Brussels-based label notorious for their parties, bringing together the ever-surprising stretches of contemporary music – its history includes James Ferraro, Amnesia Scanner, Crystallmess, Oli XL, Varg2TM, Sky h1 and Vegyn. – and a delight in the many faces of club, never disconnected from the families it fosters. That partying is not something one should take lightly, understands Slagwerk like no other, showing that only in its experimental and dynamic embrace one can escape both nightlife’s over-intellectualizing and too- trivializing impulses. At Slagwerk, and so too in Otis’ continuous escapades as a DJ, the trivial is never just banal, the poppy never just popular, but the cutting-edge never turns pose either. In Otis’ sets, rigid conceptions of music are left aside, cul-de-sacs explored conditionally through humor, affect and instinct alike. Staying true to the thrill and shuffled spirit of online musical discovery, sound and songs connect and disconnect, flow and disrupt, genres are exploited and transgressed, melody seduced and swept.

MONIB

MONIB is a DJ, producer, and artist of Palestinian descent, born in Qatar and currently based in Montréal, QC. With a musical palette shaped by Top 40 pop, vogue beats, underground club sounds, and Middle Eastern ballads and samples, their work fuses nostalgic familiarity with boundary-pushing experimentation. Over the course of their career, MONIB has released a number of acclaimed projects, including their latest EP, ROCKSTAR, which PAPER Magazine praised as: “Each track is unlike the last, as the artist plunges into extreme, yet tender, expression.” They are also the founder of Hauterageous Worldwide, an experimental music event series that champions cutting-edge electronic artists from across the globe. The project has cultivated a growing cult following in Montréal, New York, and Toronto.

She has released multiple singles, an EP (released on Planet Mu TIMESIG imprint,) toured across Europe, Canada and the US, was half of Poemss (alongside Venetian Snares,) and founded the EQUALIZER series, teaching technical skills to women and non-binary musicians. She has been featured in publications such as CBC, Line Of Best Fit, and Vice. Producer, DJ, performer, and recently "co-mother" of Hauterageous Worldwide, she is now based in Montreal, where you can find her making freaky bangers.

dustBunny

dustBunny is a Toronto-born, Montreal-based electronic music producer and artist. They began their journey in Glasgow in 2020, initially crafting a sweet, glittery, and somewhat naive sound inspired by soft comedowns, sunrises, and feelings of rebirth; music born from finally feeling seen. Over time, however, dustBunny’s sound evolved into something darker and harsher, trading vulnerability for exposure and fragility for intensity. Today, their sonic palette is closer to ransom letters than love notes, delivering cathartic sirens that serve both as emotional release and fierce retaliation.

Lucid Grooves

Baltimore-to-Montreal transplant Lucid Grooves has been tantalizing dance floors since 2016, serving up groovy flavors from across the ages splashed with just the right amount of psychedelia. In his colorful sets and productions you’ll find just about everything from jacking electro to electrifying Italo to the smoothest of house and dub. His Ossifer alias serves as his outlet for darker and more experimental creations, and in 2022 he started a hybrid-live project with Stereo_IMG called Dissember. He also co-organizes regular dance gatherings via the Exposé Noir series and in recent years has become a familiar face in his adopted city’s nightlife policy scene.
