Lexis is the founder of the Music Is My Sanctuary platform as well as the 24 Hours of Vinyl event series. For the past 15 years he has been a pillar of the Montreal music scene as a DJ and event organiser. He is also a speaker, music consultant for businesses as well as a radio / podcast Host. In this era where most of the music is served by algorithms, Alexis continues to build and run projects all of which aim to reposition the human at the centre of musical discoveries, exchange and listening.
Choozey has spent the decade in Montreal honing her craft of creating unexpected musical connections and catalyzing collisions of sound on vinyl. An avid participant in the city’s dance floors and insatiable supporter of local talents, her intricately diverse DJ sets have found their way into parties she’s helped organize such as zi!i!i!i!i!ip, LAGOM, Planet Tilt and the more recent Yoga Jungle series at local DIY pillar La Plante. She’s a restless force for unique admixtures of sounds and styles running the gamut from footwork to free jazz.
The RawSoul was hooked on House music around 1986 at the tender age of 6 years old when his uncle, a DJ at the time, introduced him to Chicago house. From that day, there was no turning back. He has an immeasurable love for deep house and garage sounds, and likes to mess around with old-school hip-hop, R&B, reggae, Detroit techno, soul, disco, jazz and anything else with soul.
Gold Casanova (Charles Desmarais) is a Montreal artist who specializes in graphic design, 2D & 3D animation and in a colourful illustration style that is both pop-minimal and dynamic, evoking joy and a good mood.
Alexis Quesnel is a Montreal-based artist and graphic designer. His approach is based on intuitive experimentation and the constant search for new creative processes. The artist combines the influences of fine arts and crafts with new aesthetics rooted in the post-internet movement and digital practices.
