Leticia Trandafir is a Montreal-based DJ, music producer and cultural organizer. Her sonic aesthetic fuses acid, hypnotic techno, rave music and broken beats. In addition to her energetic DJ sets, softcoresoft performs live, mixing techno, acid, electro and trance. Softcoresoft’s first EP was released in October 2019 on Lobster Theremin Black Label. Softcoresoft’s performances have been presented on Montreal’s most important electronic music platforms. Internationally, softcoresoft has performed in Paris, Berlin, London, Barcelona, Detroit, Norway, Düsseldorf, etc. Leticia is also musical director at Never Apart.
Simon Chioini (S. Chioini, DJ Voilà) is a composer, DJ, electronic music producer and art
administrator from Montréal. His practice and influences are deeply anchored in studies as a classically trained percussionist, a Masters in electroacoustic composition from the Conservatoire de musique de Montréal, and a genuine fascination with the weird electronic sounds of the 90s and 00s. As a performer, Chioini performs as much in intimate Montreal venues as at local and international festivals such as Mutek, Akousma, Sight & Sound, Chromatic and L’Espace du son.
Félix Félix Gourd Gourd’s practice oscillates between light installation, 3D animation, sculpture and video scenography. Fascinated by spatio-temporal dimensions, he conceives light as an element that transcends space and time. For him, light is a material that allows him to cut, move and transform darkness. The content he creates on screen is experimental, sometimes humorous but always strange: a journey through lost worlds between the fantastic and the digital.
Coming from the Montreal techno scene, Axel performed under the name of Axel Helios before embarking on audiovisual experiences. Under the name Render.Tex, he adopted the use of video game machines to perform his visual works in order to make them more interactive and to redefine the definition of audience and performer.
