Kap Bambino is a visceral and unique experience. Every album, every concert radiates raw, destructive,
and vital energy. With No Domination, the duo Caroline and Orion reinvent their dark wave electro
punk: sharp, powerful, dark, and captivating. Always the same, yet always different. Their music is a
cathartic blend of violence and generosity, both harsh and luminous. Kap Bambino is a ball of energy
that doesn’t burn but makes you stronger.
Rough, contrasted, and labyrinthine, the music of Alix Fernz (formerly known as Blood Skin Atopic) delves into the scalene enclave of post-punk while flirting with hypnagogic pop, creating a lo-fi hybrid between synthwave and alternative rock, with catchy yet distorted melodies. Singing about bar life, psychosocial struggles, drugs, addiction, and fear, and drawing inspiration from high heels, lipstick, drag, fashion, and bugs, the singer-songwriter introduces us to a certain coming-of-age narrative in the cybernetic era of likes and memes. The Montreal-based artist will release Bizou, his debut album under his new moniker, via Mothland.
