Pat Davis
Pat started listening to electronic music in the eighties. He liked bands like
Depeche Mode, Cabaret Voltaire, Anne Clark, Nitzer Ebb, Front 242,etc… Pat
bought his first turntables in that period. Not so long after that wave of inspiration,
he found himself very busy. He became a party DJ and studied DJing. Talented,
he hosted a radio show until he moved to Montreal. It was there that he started
listening to Chigago house.
A year later he
made his first appearance as a DJ at Café du Palais in Sherbrooke. Playing
some 80s electro and some classic house tracks, he managed to impress a small
crowd. He worked there for 3 years. Later Pat became resident DJmoved at Bar
les Graffitis in Sherbrooke. He started the famous “Nu-Muzik” nights,
every Tuesday. It was a huge success! For four years, the place was filled at
its fullest with at least 800 fans a night.
While he blended
records with his own hot style, several well known clubs approached him. When
it wasn’t at Montreal’s famous Blue Dog, it was at the Jingxi, 737, Soho, or
the outrageous Parking club. He also had the opportunity to pack his talent,
bring a suitcase and toothbrush to travel around Ontario. He made a stop to
Mercury Lounge in Ottawa’s Byward Market, visited Toronto’s Volume Lounge and
then came back inside the Quebec border to end up at Scanner in Quebec City
and many other events. Always in demand, Pat attended and played at over 100
raves… And it’s not over!!

Maxxx has been playing at more than 50 partys and in most of the well known

the ears of those who know what good electro music is all about!!!

Ancko
