New technologies are on the slate! Mixed and multi-media works form the lineup for a highly colourful double concert by GRAME (Lyon), with four “plugged-in” soloists from the other side of the ocean. Violin, cello, percussion and accordeon blend with video screens and speakers in the most appropriate space possible—the Society for Arts and Technology (SAT). GRAME, Centre National de Création Musicale (Lyon 1982), organizes a variety of activities that run the entire gamut of musical creativity in the area of contemporary music, from the composition or production of works to their presentation in concert.
