Pecha Kucha Montréal, Design Montréal and the UNESCO Chair in Landscape and Environmental Design at Université de Montréal and invite members of the media to a unique kind of meeting between Montréal elected officials and the design community. During this evening activity, the Mayor of Montréal, along with 12 mayors of boroughs and reconstituted municipalities in the Montréal agglomeration, will present, to an audience of creative professionals involved in planning Montréal’s future as well as members of the public, their viewpoints on the City’s identity as well as opportunities for highlighting design and the urban landscape.

Pecha Kucha nights are unique, vital platforms for interdisciplinary exchanges and meetings organized with the primary objective of providing public forum in which creators from diverse horizons can present their thoughts and processes on projects that have been completed, are underway or that they are still dreaming about. The concept is simple: each participant presents 20 slides and comments on each one for 20 seconds.
