Mia Makela (a.k.a SOLU) is finnish media+live cinema artist, teacher, investigator and cultural activist residing in Barcelona.

During her residency she has continued her investigation on realtime audiovisuals in theory and praxis. She has interviewed various artist and programmers and the results will be published in A-Minima magazine and her forthcoming DVD-publication. She has also been working on her new performance titled Naturology, which deals with the turbulent relationship we have with nature.

She will give a talk on LIVE CINEMA and show the first version of Naturology.
