Marilyn Basbous is a roller dancer, founder and creative behind “Skate with Marly”. Currently, Marly and her team offer roller dance classes in Montréal to all skate enthusiasts and help them gain confidence grooving on quad skates. They also perform shows, host roller dance events, as well as skate bootcamps with key-players in the roller dance industry.

FAQ

I need more information on the timetable

Session 1 :

  • Doors: 1pm
  • Initiation class: 1:40pm
  • Beginning of the session: 2pm
  • End: 4pm

Session 2:

  • Doors: 4pm
  • Initiation class: 4:40pm
  • Beginning of the session: 5pm
  • End: 7pm

Please note that your reservation is valid for the session you have chosen only.

If you book for both sessions, you’ll have to go through the ticket scan again at the start of the second session (Espace SAT will be emptied in between).

What can of skates can I bring?

  • Skates to be brought in must be “quad” or 4-wheeled
  • In-line skates will be refused for safety reasons

I don't have any skates, what can I do?

Two options:

  • Pre-book your skates when you buy your tickets (quantities are limited), our partner Jay’s roller will bring them to you and payment will be due on the day
  • Rent them at Low Life (Rosemont) and bring them to the event!

**Please note that skates will not be available on site without prior reservation via the box office.

I never roller danced, is it a problem?

No !

Marly will be holding an introductory class at the beginning of each period (1:40pm and 3:40pm), plan to arrive early to make sure you don’t miss out.

Can I have access if I'm under 18 or if I want to bring my children?

This event is reserved for those 18 and over.
