VISIO is the alias of musician and visual artist Nicola Tirabasso based in London. Both in music and visuals, his output investigates and explores the arcane tangents between reality and the unexplainable. Much like a modern antiquarian, he takes inspiration from a wide range of fictional imageries, repurposing them in an intricate, deconstructed, melancholically haunted music.
CECILIA creates a surreal music-theater soundtrack, between dark fairy tale and industrial poetic recital. Her songs are sensory encounters with melancholic infatuation that unfold through sculptural breaths, powerful vocals, and tactile sound textures. Her stage performances play with emotional intimacy and theatrical excesses, reflecting the introspective yet hallucinatory and reckless spirit of her recordings.
The percussionist Samuel Gougoux, based in Montreal since 2017, is making his comeback to the stage after his involvement in various projects (Victime, Kee Avil, TDA, Corridor, and more) with fresh material; a clear departure from his more brutal and cutting compositions, he introduces us to a softer impressionist universe, soaked with jazz, ambient and (electro)acoustic qualities.
