L’alter-Monde — Sandrine Deumier & Myriam Bleau
L’alter-Monde is an immersive audiovisual project for fulldome format. Evocation of a cybernetic garden designed in multiple scenes, this work contemplates a potential symbiosis between the human being and a state of rediscovered nature. Through ecosophy and inter-species mutualism, it explores the possibility of identifying ourselves with a mutant nature, a plant-becoming state or the experience of infra-human lives.
Sandrine Deumier
Sandrine Deumier is a pluridisciplinary artist working in the fields of performance, poetry, and video art who investigates post-futurist themes through the development of aesthetic forms related to digital imaginaries.
Myriam Bleau
Myriam Bleau is a composer, digital artist, and performer based in Montreal. Using music and sound as a point of departure, she creates gestural electronic music performances, audiovisual interfaces, installations, and interactive devices that articulate sound, light, movement, and symbols. Her works investigate performance, both as a codified cultural manifestation and as an embodied (re)enactment of symbolic systems through human and non-human agencies. They have been presented at Prix Ars Electronica (AT), Sónar (ES, HK), Mutek (MX, CA, AR, JP), ISEA (CA, KR), and Transmediale (DE). Photo credits: Agustina Isidori.
Trial — CLAUDE & Shin Hyejin
The sudden fear one feels when imagining the infinity of the universe comes from the feelings when one faces the finiteness and weakness of their own existence. The work Trial is intricately designed for us to think about what we can have and what attitudes we can bolster as soon as the morality that one has built and the laws the history has established become totally powerless.
This project is a real-time live audio visual performance displayed through an immersive video and sound system. Light and sound, which are constantly generated and dissipated over time, create a different dimension in space and that opens up new environments.
CLAUDE
CLAUDE is a media artist based in Seoul. By applying motion and real-time environmental data to algorithms, He presents an abstract movement in digital particles by capturing the organic changes of humans and nature, and mysterious vitality of them.
It focuses on delivering the fundamental beauty of nature by capturing the overwhelming emotions people feel as if experiencing the vast nature in media art.
Shin Hyejin
