SAT Fest 2024

In a brand-new dome, SAT Fest 2024 will once again showcase the emerging and established talents of the fulldome scene, with an unprecedented program of immersive short films, previews, and the presence of local and international artists. Come discover and celebrate captivating creations that push the boundaries of traditional storytelling!

Each evening will feature several short films from the official selection, followed by a special screening. Seating is limited, so a second afternoon session the following day will allow you to attend the reruns of the previous day’s short films.

Following each short film screenings, we’re featuring the Canadian premiere of an immersive work of art. Wen-E HSIEH’s Limbotopia, Yan Breuleux’s Matière Première and Sergey Prokofyev’s Local Dystopias In The Global Utopia will plunge you into three original artistic visions.

New this year, the SAT team will be presenting free “Open Dome” sessions, giving the public a behind-the-scenes look at the creative process in the dome.

For the more experienced, we invite you to the professional event, with masterclasses and activities focused on the Fulldome field: two days of exchange and sharing of expertise around the techniques of creation and production of artistic works under dome, as well as an extensive panorama of different creation and distribution venues around the world.
