About the artists of the immersive tales

Conte d’un futur commun

Delphine Descombin - Storyteller and trapeze artist
By challenging our certainties and delving into themes of intimacy and fragility, her stories embrace open narratives that question our relationship with the living world. They offer diverse perspectives and invite reflection on our place within it. In 2017, she founded Compagnie Grim and created a unique 5-meter yurt to suspend her trapeze, where she presents her performances. Whether as a solo storyteller or collaborating with musicians and circus artists, she crafts immersive tales for audiences of all ages.

Conte d’un futur commun

Louis Clément - Artistic Director and Set Designer
A graduate in architecture from ENSA Paris Val de Seine, Louis is a member of The Live Drawing Project. Since 2013, he has been exploring video projection and mapping, and, in collaboration with composer Dominique Clément, created the reactive scenography For L. Since 2015, he has been designing smartphone-guided tours in Lyon, showcasing visual artworks and musical interventions in unconventional locations. As general manager for Ensemble ALEPH and the D’Aujourd’hui à Demain festival, he also works as a video technician for exhibitions at the MAC, MBA, and the Lyon Biennale.

Conte d’un futur commun

Yovan Girard - Musician and singer
After studying classical violin, Yovan earned his jazz diploma from the CRR of Paris in 2010. He then joined Didier Lockwood’s trio and performed with Emel Mathlouthi and Bachar Mar-Khalifé. In 2015, he became a member of Franck Tortiller’s MCO Collectiv, whose album Collectiv was selected as one of the best albums of the year by Le Monde in 2018. Since 2017, he has been the lead vocalist of the ethio-jazz group Kunta. His interest in diverse musical styles and improvisation allows him to expand his range as a violinist, composer, and rapper.

Conte d’un futur commun

Maxime Hurdequint - illustrator
After completing his training through various practices in Denmark, Mexico, and Japan, including at Sou Fujimoto’s agency, he worked as a project architect in Paris. He is a member of The Live Drawing Project.

MANITOU360

Laetitia Troussel-Luber - Narration and Text
A writer and the voice behind her texts, Laetitia treats storytelling as an everyday object, nourished by both our most mundane experiences and the myths and legends that shape us. She splits her time between writing performances, collecting stories, and organizing events. Co-founder of Banana Créations, Laetitia is also part of the research lab for storytelling arts at the Maison du Conte.

MANITOU360

Joséphine Hurtut – Composition and Musical Performance
Joséphine is a singer-songwriter and cultural project manager. Alongside her vocal training, she learned piano, guitar, and computer-assisted production. On stage, she offers hybrid live performances, blending French chanson with electro. Co-founder of Banana Créations, she also created her own music label, Tache de Rousseur.
The immersive storytelling performances are presented with the support of the Consulat général de France à Québec
The SAT thanks the City of Montreal for its financial support in the realization of the stop-motion animation kiosk and maple taffy on snow on the terrace.
