The Montréal public libraries network is looking for your creativity. Whatever your profile, motivation, ideas and style are, let your imagination run free, turn on your camera, and create a short film about the concept of libraries and Montréal.

Make your film distinctive – originality and creativity will be the jury’s main selection criteria.

Who can participate?
The contest is open to everyone. Videos can be created by groups or individuals. Since the Internet has no borders, there are no restrictions on your place of residence.

What about content?
All themes and styles will be accepted. The only requirement is to introduce the notions of “libraries” and “Montréal” in the video. Originality and creativity will be the jury’s main selection criteria.

What formats are acceptable?
Videos must be between 30 seconds and 1 minute, 30 seconds in length. Videos must be in one of the following formats: QuickTime (mov), Windows Media (wmv) or MPEG4, and must have a resolution of 320 x 240 pixels.

What is the deadline for participating?
The contest will end on January 31 at 11:59 p.m. Entries must be postmarked before this time.
