Telepresence video

Discover the Telepresence station, a device with many possibilities.

The telepresence stations developed at the SAT offer an elegant system for online teamwork (“telecollaboration”) in areas like technical support, distance learning, and artistic creation. Version 2.0 of the system can be used as a media server, as a portable digital cinema, and as a videoconferencing tool with enriched content from the Web.

Users are displayed at actual human size in high-resolution, sound-synchronized video images so they can converse and collaborate naturally and in real-time. One key difference in telepresence stations is the improved eye contact: the cameras are placed behind the screens in a way that maintains eye-level communication.
