Develop your creative techniques to design spatialized sound works that reflect your unique artistic vision.
Blending theory, hands-on demonstrations in our new sound studio, and open discussions, this masterclass explores a range of spatial composition strategies. Focusing on multichannel approaches that go beyond the dome, the course will guide you in composing with the number and placement of speakers in mind, allowing you to create immersive sound environments that enhance the overall experience of your work.
Beyond its technical dimension, sound spatialization is fundamentally a compositional paradigm, offering artists a way to develop their own musical idiosyncrasy. This masterclass will help you refine your creative sensitivity to sonic space, whether you are working on musical pieces, installations, or research-based projects.
To further expand your practice, we encourage you to also register for the Masterclass – Audio Mapping for Sound Diffusion, where you will learn how to adapt sound works from one format to another. By registering for both courses, you will benefit from a $75 discount (regular combined value: $280).
Please note that this course is exclusively taught in French. For more information, head over to our French website.
