Meet great saxophonists from around the world.

Film POP (POP Montréal)
Monday, June 19 Something Wild
![]()
Synopsis : Film POP is loco de amor for Jonathan Demme (1944-2017), and pays him tribute with a screening of SOMETHING WILD, the incomparable and delirious romantic comedy featuring Ray Liotta, as well as Jeff Daniels and Melanie Griffith in the roles of Charlie, an orderly businessman – symbol of the yuppie generation – and Lulu, a one of a kind outlaw. With an excellent soundtrack (David Byrne, The Feelis, Oingo Boing and New Order), here’s a film which, by itself, captures the generous and rebel spirit of its author, as well as the disillusioned zeitgeist of America in the 80s. |
