Open Call - Ciné-Concerts 2023

Creation program

Date limite : March 15, 2023
Submission period ended

The Society for Arts and Technology and the Cinémathèque québécoise are looking for ciné-concerts projects to be presented during the Summer of 2023.

In July 2022, the SAT and the Cinémathèque québécoise, in collaboration with the Partenariat du Quartier des spectacles, inaugurated a unique series of Ciné-Concerts on the Place de la paix, during which four feature films were set to live music by artists.

The present call for projects, addressed to artists and artists’ collectives, aims to receive new proposals for cine-concerts in preparation for the 2023 edition.

This call is addressed to musicians, sound artists and artists’ collectives and aims at the creation of live musical performances during the public screening of a film. We favour electronic and/or experimental music projects, and are looking for originality.

SAT wishes to contribute to an inclusive and diverse cultural scene. We encourage proposals from women, trans and non-binary people, 2SLGBTQ+ communities, Aboriginal communities, racialized people, visible and/or ethnic minorities, and people with disabilities.

We are accepting proposals until March 15, 2023.

You must be available and in Montreal during the period of the event (July 2023)

Your demo must illustrate:
