Chef's cuisine in a café formula

At Café SAT we offer our customers a variety of drinks, meals and snacks developed in collaboration with the Labo culinaire’s team. Our menu highlights seasonal products from local producers and is embellished with a few elements harvested from our rooftop garden. The café also offers an organic wine, cider and microbrewery beer selection to take out or to enjoy on location.

In the heart of the Quartier des Spectacles

Overlooking the majestic trees of Peace Park, at the gates of Chinatown, the Café SAT's charm lies not only in the quality of its WIFI, but also in the luminous sunlight, the post-industrial design and the stimulating and friendly atmosphere. Note: The Café SAT is a nonprofit, just like the SAT! Our prices are affordable, and every dollar spent is reinvested in nearly 900 artists, 250 employees, and over 50 researchers and teachers.

A creative menu

Our professional baristas serve you different typical third-wave coffee specialties in addition to a selection of homemade iced teas and kombucha with flavors of agastache and marigolds harvested from our rooftop garden. The food menu highlights a cuisine composed of regional seasonal products, distributed by local producers with whom we have the chance to share a privileged relationship (Récolte de la Rouge, Ferme des Quatre Temps, Automne, Blés de Pays ...) dishes and breakfasts are created on site and unveil unexpected flavors, from the iconic boiled egg for breakfast to deconstructed smoked char toast, through rustic tarts and seasonal salad variations. Creative vegan and vegetarian options are always available, as well as a list of organic and natural wines and microbrewery beers.

Every Friday starting at 6:00 pm, the Café hosts Shift Radio, an independent web radio channel dedicated to promoting the abundance and diversity of Montreal's electronic music scene.
