THE VIRTUAL SAT
The virtual SAT
The Society for Arts and Technology invites you to visit its new virtual space. Until we can welcome you back in our physical space, we are offering a new online experience on our immersive platform, Satellite.
Enter a 3D version of the SAT and witness the best moments of the events, concerts and DJ performances broadcasted over the past months. Once in the space, you will be able to interact with other participants through our chat, connect your webcam and even meet special guests…
Our weekly program will allow you to discover the emerging music scene thanks to the rebroadcast of the Marée Nocturne concert series as well as Shift Radio's recordings carried out from Café SAT since July 2021.
Join us every Wednesday from 5pm to party together, from a safe distance.
About Satellite
The Satellite is a 3D web-immersive environment that focuses on the social aspect of the experience. Created in 2020, this transdisciplinary platform aims to promote cultural and artistic content and create synergy by interconnecting them. Satellite offers Quebec's cultural organizations and artists the opportunity to explore new spaces for creation and dissemination.
About Shift Radio
Shift Radio is a Montreal-based independent web radio station dedicated to promoting the abundance and diversity of Montreal's electronic music scene through livestreams carefully selected by people, not algorithms.
An alternative to traditional media, Shift operates on a weekly basis, without any profit motive. The radio station offers borderless content where artists can do what they do best: express themselves through music, without the pressure of conforming to the standards of the cultural industry.
About Marée Nocturne
Marée nocturne offers a concert program highlighting must-sees and discoveries of the Canadian music scene in a space transformed by the scenography of multidisciplinary artist Kelly Nunes along with VJs Bunbun and Jason Voltaire. In the virtual SAT, you will be able to relive the first edition that took place in July 2021.
