– Members are invited to attend general assemblies, where they will be able share their voices and vote.

– Members also have access to a wide range of privileges:

  • Professional development activities
  • Invitations to premieres, networking events and residency presentations
  • Visibility on the website’s directory of members
  • Discount on our productions (15%)
  • Discount on our training courses (15%)
  • Discount at Café SAT and our restaurant, Pavillon (15%)
  • Discount on our merchandise (15%)
  • Early access to calls for projects

WHO CAN JOIN?

SAT membership is open to any artist, creator or researcher working in the digital arts sector. Membership is open to individuals only; organizations, collectives or companies are not eligible.

Digital arts are understood here in a broad framework that includes – but is not limited to – interactive, audiovisual and performance arts, creative technologies, innovative artistic practices or any other field related to technological arts.

HOW TO JOIN

  • SAT membership is voluntary and subject to a fee. To become a member, simply fill out the membership form, which will be evaluated by the SAT’s Board of Directors (with a maximum delay of three months)
  • The annual membership fee is $25 per person. This amount is fixed and applies only to the current membership year
  • Memberships are valid for a maximum of one year
  • Our annual renewal campaign takes place between May and June
  • We invite you to consult our membership policy and SAT’s general regulations

What is the registration process to become a member?

Applications are analyzed according to the following criteria:

  • The artistic quality of the applicant’s work;
  • SAT’s capacity to support the applicant;
  • SAT’s strategic objectives;
  • The applicant’s artistic and professional reputation.

The process has two stages:

  1. Fill in the application form.
  2. The Board of Directors will then evaluate your application. Once it has been approved, you will receive a confirmation email containing a payment link. The final step is to pay your membership fee, which will complete the process.

Do I have to be a member to submit a project to SAT?

No. Membership is not required and has no impact on the eligibility or evaluation of projects submitted to our open calls.

I'm based outside Quebec, but I'd still like to become a member. Am I eligible?

Yes. Your location does not affect your eligibility for membership. However, certain benefits – such as workshops and in-person events – may not be accessible if you are based outside Quebec.
