PeachClub

PeachClub is a production company committed to amplifying the voices of underrepresented communities through a wide range of artistic performances. The initiative creates spaces and opportunities for individuals identifying as women, non-binary, queer, as well as sex workers.
More than just a stage, PeachClub provides them with a platform where their art is fully recognized, their stories valued, and their work fairly compensated. For this special edition in collaboration with the S.A.T., PeachClub puts humor in the spotlight with a bilingual Open Mic version.
This event brings together four queer comedians, each performing an 8 to 10-minute set. The evening will be hosted by PeachClub’s founders, Catherine (PeachClub Barbie) and Margaux (Gomar Babe), whose contagious energy blends feminism, humor, and social critique with a sharp edge.
The show, lasting about an hour, will be followed by a two-hour DJ set in the restaurant.
Please note that the show is intended for adult audiences.
This evening is presented as part of SAT’s Winter Terrace program.
SAT would like to thank the City of Montréal for its financial support of SAT the Winter Terrace project.

The artists

Maxime Eve Gagnon

Maxime Ève is a comedian who has taken part in minifest, zoofest, ComediHa! club and the Just for Laughs festival. She talks about topics close to her heart, such as her trans-identity, her sexuality, her origins and her everyday life.

Noémie Leduc-Roy

Noémie is a multidisciplinary bdsm manga artist who uses art and humor to heal their traumas. Their dream is for their father to finally admit that they're funnier than he is. A radical feminist with incense and a few warts, it's fair to say that if Noémie had been born in the Middle Ages, they'd have been accused of witchcraft and burned at the stake, but this is the 21st century, so they're just been accused of shoplifting at Simons.

Kě is one of Montreal's simplest, silliest guys. You may have seen them at various gay shows across town as well as Fierté Montréal, Lady Fest, Festival Accès Asie, The Asian Comedy Festival in NYC and they’re a Just for Laughs Originals recording artist. They also recently starred in the short film Gender Reveal, which was a hit at Locarno, TIFF and many other festivals. Weaving words together through self expression, humor, storytelling and biting commentary, they pull you into their performative world, in hopes of bringing you all some joy.

Andrew Khoury

A self-described small-town gal, Andrew Khoury is a Montreal-based comic who has performed on Just For Laughs, Off-JFL/ZooFest's Discovery Series, Fierté Montréal, and has opened for Tina Friml and Tranna Wintour. He uses his flamboyant nature to take you on a journey of his experiences as a queer Arab and shameless pursuit of finding a rich man. On stage, Andrew is the Haram Queen.
