Artists Selected for the Labos Immersifs
The SAT and the Assemblée Artistique des Diversités Numériques (l’AADN) are pleased to announce the selected artists for the Labos Immersifs, which will take place at the SAT from March 17 to 21, 2025!
During this collaborative creative residency, participants will work in teams to produce drafts of immersive audiovisual works. This initiative, which will be the first edition in Montreal, will offer media artists – notably from visual arts, music, sound design, and interactivity – the opportunity to collaborate with international creators, enhance their skills in fulldome creation, and test their works in our immersive dome.
Participants will also have the opportunity to attend masterclasses and engage with mentors in immersive creation, such as Milo Reinhardt (susy.technology, World Creation Studio), Myriam Boucher, Vincent Brault (SAT), Janire Najera (CULTVR Lab), and Warrick Tsai (C-Lab Taiwan).
Selected by the SAT, AADN, Taiwan Contemporary Culture Lab, CULTVR Lab and Chapel Sound, this cohort brings together artists from a wide range of artistic practices.
