Job Description
Reporting to the Head of IT, the incumbent is responsible for providing IT support to the organization’s staff. They ensure that all employees have functional, efficient, and context-appropriate tools. They serve as the first point of contact for handling technology-related incidents and requests. They are responsible for maintaining the proper operation of equipment, software, networks, and other IT services.
Tasks and Responsibilities
Act as a key resource for providing on-site and remote user support;
Identify and resolve issues with servers, network equipment, and other hardware, escalating problems when necessary;
Manage hardware, software, and licensing inventory across the IT environment;
Install, configure, and maintain user workstations, telephones, and printers;
Ensure the deployment and updating of operating systems and user applications;
Manage user accounts and access permissions;
Write and maintain procedures and documentation, and train users on corporate IT tools;
Requirements and Qualifications
Diploma or certificate of college studies in computer science, a related field, or equivalent completed or ongoing experience;
Minimum of 2 years of experience as an IT support technician;
Experience in the arts and cultural sector is an asset;
Experience working in a non-profit organization is an asset;
Ability to solve problems using a systematic and analytical approach;
Strong teamwork and communication skills;
Autonomy, initiative, creativity, and open-mindedness;
Strong customer service orientation, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to explain and simplify information technology concepts;
Fluency in French and English;

Employment Conditions
Full-time, permanent position — 37.5 hours/week
