Trance. Techno. House. Electro. An ALL NIGHT that refuses genre labels takes over Espace SAT, bringing together three selectors with distinct yet complementary worlds: Barcelona-based Dutch DJ mad miran, Belgian DJ and curator Nosedrip, and Montreal queer icon Dijipoune.
On the lineup:the unpredictability of mad miran, a staple of the Dutch underground scene who has appeared at festivals including Primavera Sound, Dekmantel, and Houghton; the meticulous and intuitive dance selections of Nosedrip, founder of the label STROOM and a quietly influential sonic architect; and the queer, dancefloor-first energy of Dijipoune, co-organizer and member of the Flush collective, active on Montreal’s scene since the early 2000s.
Thriving on unpredictability, whether at a festival or an intimate club, mad miran’s connection to rave culture and unique blend of electronic beats guarantee a mesmerizing performance every time, marking her as one of the most exciting DJs to watch. She electrifies the Dutch underground scene with her dynamic mastery over the decks, now resonating from her new base in Barcelona. Quoting Miran, “Genres are disturbing, I play vibes,” she expertly weaves diverse sounds into compelling, energetic narratives that keep the dance floor alive and guessing. Miran’s skills have brought her to stages worldwide, from a curated Boiler Room session to her solo debut at Dekmantel 2022, as well as other highly respected festivals like Primavera, Houghton, Draaimolen and Waking Life.
Ziggy Devriendt, aka Nosedrip, is a quietly influential force in electronic music. Based in Ostend, Belgium, he is the founder of STROOM, a highly respected label known for its unpredictable blend of obscure reissues, original compilations, and forward-looking releases. Through a deeply personal approach to curation, Devriendt has shaped STROOM into one of Western Europe’s essential underground imprints. As a DJ and selector, he is equally renowned for crafting intuitive, genre-blurring sets that weave together trance, experimental sounds, and dancefloor-driven discoveries, bridging classic cuts with contemporary material. Humble yet visionary, Nosedrip has built a singular practice as both curator and performer, continuing to shape the landscape of electronic music through subtle, lasting influence.
Dijipoune has been hanging out in places where repetitive noises make up the sonic
atmosphere since the noughties. Their love of the dance floor led them to the dj booth to push the envelope in the Montreal queer nightlife through the collectives behind the Flush parties. Their music selection glides through the genres of techno, house and electro and draws from the classic gems to the futuristic tracks -- expect psychedelic sounds, wonky beats and playful vocals.
