Immersive experiences

The Society for Arts and Technology [SAT] unveils ten bold projects that explore the theme of memory in motion through immersive art.

After a meticulous selection process, our committee has chosen projects from nine local and twelve international artists.

Spanning performances, films, and immersive installations, all of these projects explore the theme of memory in motion. Each artist will be challenged to use immersion as a tool to rethink our perception of the world through a shared artistic experience.

Starting this summer, the resident artists will be welcomed into the Satosphere to develop their works, supported by our team, our resources, and our expertise. The residencies will culminate in public presentations that fully embody the mission of the SAT’s residency program: to support works that push the boundaries of immersive art.

About the SAT Residency Program

The residency program at the Society for arts and technology [SAT] is open to creators driven by the challenges of exploratory research in the digital field and by avant-garde artistic creation.

SAT’s research-creation approach is both transdisciplinary and transprofessional: it welcomes all disciplines, skills, and expertise to help evolve creative processes and bring forth powerful, original works. It also encourages resident artists to resonate with the pressing issues of our time.

SAT residencies are designed to support the development of innovative artistic projects by providing artists with the guidance and resources they need to advance the many phases of their creative journey.
