Turbine is a groundbreaking trio that fuses turntablism with high-energy bass music, pushing the boundaries of scratch culture by turning it into a full-on dancefloor experience. Rooted in hip hop and shaped by the legacy of scratch technique, the group reinvents DJing through explosive live performances blending basshouse, breakbeat and drum & bass. In 2022, Turbine placed 4th at the DMC World Championships, earning global recognition and opening the door to major collaborations. The trio has since released on Banzai Lab, Gorilla Warfare (feat. Killa P of Roll Deep) and Gravitas Recordings (feat. Pav4n of Foreign Beggars). Their hyperactive live show, driven by aggressive scratch techniques and heavy sound design, is built for big stages and festival crowds. Turbine has already shaken key events such as Osheaga, Dox’Art Festival, and FME, bringing a unique crossover between electronic music and hip hop to the front of the bass scene.

For the past 11 years, Musik Me Luv have been at the forefront of sound system culture in Montreal. Whether it's by bringing international heavyweights of the sound, or pushing forward meticulously-selected local talent, the collective’s events have been home to a loyal community of bass enthusiasts from the city and beyond. Melek’s mastery of jungle-infused sounds, combined with a love for low end, has made her a common feature across bass-leaning nights in Montréal, delivering sets that find the perfect balance between headiness and dancefloor-driven energy. Nad has been the crew’s concealed weapon. While usually in charge of the behind the scenes, his rare appearances are not one to miss. A proper selector’s selector, nad has a unique ear for bassy grooves from a diversified repertoire. Known for his extravaganza behind the decks, Dick Lee excels in unconventional blends and technicality. With over a decade of experience both DJ’ing and throwing events, Dick Lee is a perfectly seasoned treat.
