Club SAT x EAF — Xela Edna • Miami Deathrow • Public Appeal

Xela Edna is a multidisciplinary artist — singer, songwriter, composer, performer, producer, arranger, dancer, artistic director, and stylist — born in Montreal (Tiohtiá:ke) in 2000. Always fascinated by performing arts, music, fashion, and the entertainment industry, she began playing piano at the age of 10 and started composing for piano and voice at 14. After various collaborations, she reunited in 2018 with Dominic Walther Battista, a childhood friend she had not seen in years, united by a common goal: to create a unique sonic identity. Following an active exploration of her musical identity, she is now recognized for her distinctive aesthetic, both visually and musically. Her voice is theatrical, transcendent, and instantly recognizable in its upper register. Her visual universe is intriguing, dark, dramatic, and somber. Through raw and socially engaged lyrics addressing various aspects of being a young woman in the 21st century, Xela also stands out for her powerful interpretation and energetic musical delivery. On stage, her performance is theatrical, dramatic, sensual, uninhibited, and liberating. She creates an experience that is both psychological and physical, drawing audiences into her own singular parallel universe.

Miami Deathrow is an industrielle duo co-founded by Lux Logan and Eliza Fawn based in Montréal. Their transdisciplinary practice transverses sound, video art, sculptural installation and embodiment. Miami Deathrow’s blood-pumping live shows cross-contaminate conventional pop structures with visceral performance art. Their hammering kicks and searing distortion raise a sonic underground in the convoluted margins of categorization. Miami Deathrow is currently producing BOUND, a mixtape dedicated to entanglement; self and other, machine and flesh, rhythm and noise. The mixtape is set to release in September 2026.

Public Appeal is an avant-garde pop artist based in Montreal. Born in Hong Kong, she lived previously in South Africa, Egypt, France, and Miami. She started making music at 16, drawing inspiration from electro-clash and international club culture. Public Appeal has since collaborated with Babynymph, Ayesha Erotica, Diamond Doll XO. Developed with her co-producer Bounce2, she released her first EP, "Mind Your Business," in July of 2023 and her debut album "Hello My Name Is Public Appeal" is set to be released via Arbutus Records in 2026.
