The residency program at the Society for Arts and Technology [SAT] is open to creators who are interested in exploratory research in the digital field and in avant-garde artistic creation.
SAT’s approach to creative research is transdisciplinary and trans-professional: it invites all disciplines, all skills and all competencies to evolve the creative process in order to produce strong and original works. It invites the artists in residence to resonate with the important issues of our time.
The trainer
Patrik Lechner
Patrik Lechner is an artist creating experimental audio/video content since the mid 2000s. Developing custom software for these purposes, original content in abstract sound works and real-time 3D graphics arose through the exploration of technology without losing focus on artistic expression.
