An interactive installation by undergraduate students from UQAM’s program Création d’expériences immersives et interactives
Come experience Blueprint by Constance Godbout, Gabriel Pelland, Alba Chamberland Fernandez, Laurence Leduc, and Charles Thérien, a new exhibition presented in collaboration with UQAM’s Faculty of Communication.
Blueprint is an immersive installation that explores how reality is perceived, measured, and mapped, from the intimate scale to satellite imagery. Through a system of motorized blinds and surveillance cameras, the space is continuously captured, fragmented, and recomposed. The audience occupies an unstable position, both observer and observed, immersed in streams of images that reshape their perception of reality. By employing visual and digital processes, the work highlights how a single reality can split into multiple layers, bringing forth parallel realities within a shared territory.
The opening will take place on May 12, from 5 PM to 7 PM, in the SAT Gallery and at our Buvette, on the 3rd floor. Join us to celebrate this new exhibition and to meet the artists!
