Through the warm currents of deep house to the sharp delineations of minimal techno, Dana Ruh approaches the dancefloor with marked precision, finely weaving together buoyant percussion, refined textures, and deep, rolling basslines. Known for versatility and driving momentum, her live performances evolve steadily, suspended in the delicate state between hypnotic flow and motion-inducing levity.

Two idiosyncratic improvisers meet in Drum Solo, an introspective dialogue between Swiss drummer Julian Sartorius and British experimental producer Matthew Herbert. Intricate, multilayered rhythms crafted on Sartorius’ collection of drums, percussion instruments, and augmented objects become the raw material for Herbert’s real-time electronic processing, as the pair craft a dense sonic atmosphere through their uniquely imaginative approaches.
