–22.7°C transports us to the heart of the Arctic Circle, inspired by the expedition of French electronic musician Molécule. We are immersed in a journey of creation under extreme conditions and in the discovery of the Arctic, a territory shaped by deep sounds and almost mystical vibrations. A sensory passage where cold becomes matter, rhythm, and vertigo.
The cracking of glaciers, the breath of the ice sheet, the silence of the polar night… In 2017, electronic music producer Molécule isolated himself for five weeks in Tiniteqilaaq, a remote village in Greenland. There, he recorded the raw sounds of the Arctic to compose his album –22.7°C. From this expedition emerged a project that opens a doorway into another world: a sensory and introspective journey deep into the polar landscape.
The beauty and harshness of Arctic landscapes merge with Molécule’s inner worlds as he undergoes a true initiatory voyage. These “inner worlds”, conceived by Dirty Monitor, give life to powerful and captivating visual universes. Carried by Molécule’s soundtrack, the entire piece blends with remarkable fluidity, offering an unprecedented glimpse into the heart of the musical creation process.

Molécule is a singular electronic musician whose boldness sets him apart. Producer, DJ, and sonic explorer, he draws inspiration from extreme environments to create unique musical and visual works. His project 60°43 Nord established him as a pioneer of nomadic electronic music, followed by –22.7°C, composed during a five-week stay in an isolated village in Greenland using recordings from the Arctic ice. His project Nazaré continues this approach by blending electronic music with natural soundscapes. On the occasion of his new album release, Molécule returns to the stage with an immersive and exclusive live performance, offering a powerful collective experience.
