Join us at our next 5 à SAT, which will address the intersections between live and digital arts!
We invite all enthusiasts of interdisciplinary arts to our fourth networking event of the year. Come discuss the challenges and creative possibilities of the intersections between live and digital arts.
Corinne Linder, artistic director of Fheel Concepts, and Marion Cossin, research engineer at CRITAC, will present the technological device they are developing with the SAT for VIBH₂O, a sensory and participatory show blending aerial acrobatics and new technologies.
Furthermore, the 7 Fingers will discuss their collaborative project with the SAT, a brand-new program to support prototyping for creative projects combining technology and the performing arts. This project is part of the mission of LAB7, the 7 Fingers technology lab, and is supported by the Canada Council for the Arts.
Finally, the Theatre Junction collective will present a research conducted in collaboration with SAT on real-time interactive tracking of faces and bodies using the open-source software Livepose, as well as the exploration of telepresence technologies.
As of 5:00 PM, join us at the Café SAT for our monthly networking event to continue the discussions.
