Join us for an evening of insightful conversations and hands-on exploration of AI creation tools!
Last autumn, SAT hosted the first ArtIA Symposium, where around thirty creators, researchers, and developers gathered to discuss the implications of AI in digital arts. The second ArtAI Symposium will close out on April 1st with a special 5 à SAT!
This event will take place in a drink and learn format, offering a unique opportunity to network while learning about the use of AI in digital creation. The evening will begin with a presentation of the ArtIA Symposium’s key developments by Pía Baltazar, Director of Art-Science Development, and Maurice Jones, Principal Researcher on the ArtAI project. You’ll also have the chance to explore various open-source AI creation tools, such as Autolume, LivePose, RAVE, and ComfyUI, through interactive kiosks organized in collaboration with the Metacreation Lab and Lab148.

The ArtIA Symposium is part of the ArtIA project, a laboratory dedicated to exploring and researching the impacts of AI on the artistic sector, carried out in partnership withSporobole,Projet Collectif, and SAT. Thefirst ArtIA Symposium, held on November 4th and 5th, focused on the establishment of AIcommons for artistic creation: accessible tools, infrastructures, and knowledge, created by and for the artistic community, fostering experimentation and collaborative innovation.
After several months of reflections and exchanges with the project’s partners, the SAT is proud to host the second ArtIA Symposium, taking place on March 31st and April 1st. These two days of discussions will culminate with our 5 à SAT, will will be open to the public.
